The Big Bang Theory is the idea that the universe is continuously expanding. The theory suggests that all the matter was condensed into one single point, the beginning of the universe. The matter was very hotter and denser, then when it cooled down protons, atoms, and neutrons were formed, thus creating everything.
In 1929, Hubble noticed that all other galaxies were moving away from ours. Because of this observation, he decided that at one point all galaxies in the universe must have been contained at one point. Einstein's general theory of relativity and standard theories of fundamental particles helped to bring scientists to the conclusion that the Big Bang is what created it all.
